Felicity was in the shops the other day and found some fabric that was leftover from another dress. She picked it up and used some leftover lace and made a lovely, and luxurious, winter coat and muff.

She had a bit of trouble and needs help on 3 counts.

1) How would you close this? She is considering a hook and eye, or a bow at the neck.

2) Any advice to make the hood smaller. We were thinking that if I just turned it inside out, sewed a seam and cut the excess fabric it might work- but if it doesn't, well there goes the entire coat. For now, tucking it behind her head is working okay.

3) Would you lace line the hood as well? If so would you do it like the body or the sleeves?
